Registration for the Legend Boucles Bastogne 2024 Ride opens on Friday 1 March

Now that the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2024 have given their verdict, it's time for the general public to get in on the action! On Saturday 4 May, the Legend Boucles Bastogne Ride will give owners of vintage or modern cars the chance to take to the roads and tracks that make up or have made up the route of the winter classic organised by the Royal Automobile Club de Spa! There's no question of competition, of course, but rather of a ride organised with the utmost seriousness... but in a convivial atmosphere!

And the 2024 edition will remain faithful to the pattern that has made it such a success since the creation of the Legend Boucles Bastogne. Starting from the Place McAufliffe in Bastogne, the route will be concentrated on a single day, following in the footsteps of the various editions of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne, with an optional evening loop that traditionally ends by the light of the lighthouses...

And let's talk about this optional evening loop! Eric Chapa, who is in charge of the Legend Boucles route, as well as the Legend Boucles Bastogne Walk, has decided to take participants along the route of what was the Rally of Bertrix 2023! We're going to offer a nice link from Bastogne to take crews through the three special stages of the Rally of Bertrix, but without the passage through the woods," explains Eric Chapa.

We're going to offer a nice link from Bastogne to take the crews through the three special stages of the Rally of Bertrix, but without the passage through the woods," explains the event's organiser. And at the end of the route, we'll finish with a check-in at a café in the Place de Bertrix, just like the old-style rallies, at around 11.30pm! Once again, the idea is to provide participants with a day that's as enjoyable as it is interesting, and to finish with an extra touch of conviviality.

It's worth remembering that the roadbook for the ride has no difficulties whatsoever, the aim being for everyone to be able to find their way around easily, including people who don't usually take part in such events. So everyone is welcome!

Registration for the Balade des Legend Boucles Bastogne 2024 will open on Friday March 1 on the official event website www.racspa.be.   

Entry for the 2024 edition of the Balade des Legend Boucles Bastogne is priced at 100 euros for a pre-1987 car and 120 euros for a post-1987 car, all for a crew of two. The night loop around Bertrix costs 45 euros.
