The 2nd Balade Legend Boucles Bastogne will take place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 May 2022!

This is the story of a successful initiative. After having been forced to give up the 2021 edition of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne, for reasons we all know, Pierre Delettre and the R.A.C. Spa team had the idea of proposing a delicious alternative in the form of a Balade des Legend Boucles Bastogne! Since the racing cars could not enter the special stages/regularity tests, it was the fans who were going to be able to take advantage of it, in the greatest respect of the rules in force, on open roads, but above all on a 330 kilometre course traced by Eric Chapa, linking countless high points of the event...

The result: 450 participants spread over two days, largely positive comments, a general good mood, and the promise to repeat the experience in 2022.

In full consultation with the authorities of Bastogne, the dates of the 2nd Legend Boucles Bastogne are now known. The event will take place on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May, during a spring weekend, on a different route than the previous one, but with the same philosophy, namely to allow as many people as possible to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the Bastogne event. Once again, the Balade des Legend Boucles will be open to both vintage and modern cars, based on a clear and precise road-book, devoid of any subtlety.

Thank you to the city of Bastogne for making these dates official", comments Pierre Delettre. This proves that this other initiative of the Royal Automobile Club de Spa has been well appreciated, by the authorities, the shopkeepers - which is very important in these troubled times - and of course the participants. The first objective is to make this Legend Boucles Bastogne 2022 more festive and more convivial than the previous one... even if we don't have all the cards in our hands. As soon as the registrations are open, we will let you know, and until then, there will certainly be no shortage of work on the 2022 edition of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne..."

No doubt, the heart of the province of Luxembourg will still be beating to the rhythm of the engines these next months...
