For their third edition on Luxembourg territory the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2017 will be devoted to an ever-growing entrenchment in the region. Following a passage in front of the sumptuous Château de Mirwart showcasing one of the Most Beautiful Villages of Wallonia, it is another tourist attraction that will welcome the competitors’ caravan in ‘Legend’ and in ‘Classic’ on Saturday 18th February 2017: the renowned Euro Space Centre located in the Transinne territory!

“These last few years, the Plopsa Coo regroup, that creates the tie line between the Luxembourg special stages and the sections inherited from the Boucles de Spa, was greatly appreciated, Pierre Delettre, the organiser of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne commented. This allowed us to fully understand the interest for such an event as ours to develop synergies with such regional tourist jewels as those we cross through. As such the idea came about to find a location as attractive, and with sufficient space to welcome the competitors and the assistance, within the province of Luxembourg. We did not need to look around at length, the Euro Space Centre coming up as the foregone conclusion …”

If the presence of Plopsa, Maya the Bee, Bumba and Vic the Viking around the cars were worth a second glance at Coo, next February the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne will also be taking off to a world of rockets, astronauts, the planets and the Space Heroes. Over the weeks the salient points of the 2017 vintage of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne will be revealed, just enough to confirm that during the weekend of Friday 17th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th February one can expect an event of major proportions. There will be the show of the classic machines at the mercy of the special stages held on asphalt and unpaved sections, the suspense in the battle for overall victory in the ‘Legend’ and ‘Classic’ categories, not forgetting quite exceptional surroundings … And in fact, not all has been revealed!
