Entries for the Legend Condroz Rally 2024

open on Monday 26 February

Since the announcement that the Royal Motor Club de Huy will be organising the 1st Legend Condroz Rally on 10, 11 and 12 May, comments have been flying thick and fast. With technical and sporting regulations identical to those of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne, the Huy-based event marks an important turning point and opens up new prospects for the future.

At the end of February, the organisers announced the programme for the Legend Condroz Rally 2024, which will begin on Thursday 9 May with the usual administrative and technical scrutineering, split between the Port of Statte and the Autosphère garage on the Quai d'Arona.

On Friday 10 May, competitors in the 'Legend', 'Youngtimers', 'Challenger' and 'Classic 65' categories will be able to do the ‘recce’, while between 6.30pm and 9.00pm, the Legend Condroz Rally will be enjoying its first crowd-pleaser, with the exhibition-parade at the Port of Statte, which will bring together all the competitors.

At 9.00 am on Saturday 11 May, the first car will pass over the podium, marking the start of Stage 1 which will finish at around 7 pm. Stage 2 will take place on Sunday 12 May, and will conclude with the traditional final podium and trophy presentation. In all, some 170 kilometres will be contested against the clock by crews in all categories.

Entries for the Legend Condroz Rally 2024 will open on Monday 26 February on the official website www.condrozrally.be.

The entry fee has been set at 1650 euros for crews competing in the 'Legend' (Target Time'), 'Youngtimers' (Target Time') and 'Challenger' categories (average speed 80 km/h), while competitors in the 'Classic 65' (maximum average speed 65 km/h) and 'Classic '50' (maximum average speed 50 km/h) categories will have to pay 1400 euros.

By taking great care over the route and the preparation of the first edition of the Legend Condroz Rally, the Royal Motor Club de Huy intends to offer an event in the tradition of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne, with the clear intention of establishing it as a key event on the historic scene over the next few years.

Regular updates on the progress of the grid will be posted online, so that fans and crews alike will not miss out on the build-up to this new event, which aims to honour the tradition of car rallies in the Huy region...
