Close-up on the sanitary protocol currently in force

Even if the next Concertation Committee (Codeco) will probably approve a change to Code Yellow for Belgium, the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2022 are subject to the rules in force until the end of the weekend.

In concrete terms, for the public at the edge of the RT, the wearing of a mask is advised... if the rules of social distancing cannot be respected. On the other hand, the Covid Safe Ticket (CST) control will still apply at the different official accesses of the course. At the refreshment stands, this control will take place... as soon as more than 100 people are in the same place at the same time. Standing consumption and 'Take Away' are allowed.

The principle will be the same at the Covered Market, the centre of this year's event: no obligation for the public to wear a mask, but the CST will check the entrance.

This Friday, the Concertation Committee could decide to switch to Code Yellow, which would mean the end of masks and CST. It is important to note that the date of implementation of these measures must be taken into account.

"It is clear that with the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2022, we are at the end of this difficult period for everyone, explains Pierre Delettre, organiser. There will be a great temptation to relax and ignore the rules that are still in force. I would just like to draw attention to the fact that there will be controls throughout the weekend. Over the last four months the Royal Automobile Club de Spa has fought like never before to organise this event. The start is now close, please respect these rules, so that no new administrative obstacles arise between now and Sunday evening. Thank you for your precious collaboration... and may this not prevent you from spending a pleasant weekend in the Bastogne region!
