All lights are green for the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2022
 
If there is one activity that has been moving in troubled waters for many months, it is the setting up of events! The Royal Automobile Club de Spa, organiser of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne, knows something about this. But Pierre Delettre and his team have the habit of not giving up, of not giving in to panic and of carefully analysing each evolution of the situation, in total consultation with the authorities, be it at federal, regional, provincial or local level. 

If some ominous birds continue to entertain doubts on social networks, in the ranks of the organisers, we are moving forward more than ever! Our interlocutors are formal: the health situation is evolving in the right direction, and within a month, it should not be reversed," explains Pierre Delettre. In a word, the event will take place! There are still a few uncertainties that will be resolved during the consultation committees (Codeco), but the success of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2022 is no longer in question.

Among the subjects that have been discussed in recent weeks, there is that of the nerve centre of the rally. Despite the improvement of the sanitary situation, the authorities do not want the marquee with the podium to be installed on the McAuliffe Square, but rather in and around the former covered market, in a nearby zoning. Certainly not enough to prevent competitors, assistants and the public from eating in town, and staying in all the hotels, gîtes, chambres d'hôtes, etc. that the region has to offer.

Proof that things can really evolve in the right direction, not only will the public be allowed everywhere, in the centre of the event as well as on the special stages, but refreshment bars will be able to be installed in the immediate vicinity of the course. If the Horeca protocol is currently applied for table service, take away is now allowed. 

The R.A.C. Spa will of course continue to inform competitors and spectators of the Legend Boucles @ Bastogne 2022 over the next few weeks, but let's face it, the event will take place! And that's the main thing... Let's go for the sport!
